Some leaders build
great companies.
The best ones know exactly
where they're going.

The Destination Fellowship is a 12-month program for 15 mission-driven leaders who are ready to stop building by instinct and start building by Destination — with the framework, the coaching, and the peer community to prove it.

The Gap Most Leaders Never Close

You are already a capable leader.
But capable isn't the same as clear.

Without a defined Destination and a framework for every decision along the way, even the most talented leaders drift — making smart individual moves that don't add up to the outcome they actually want.

01

Decision Fatigue

Every choice feels high-stakes without a clear filter for what moves you toward your Destination and what doesn't. Urgency fills the space that strategy should occupy.

02

Strategic Drift

Building without a defined Destination means adjusting the target to fit whatever you've built, instead of the other way around. The goalposts move — and you don't notice until it's expensive.

03

The Hidden Cost

Boards, investors, and clients can sense when leadership lacks conviction. A clear Destination — and the framework to pursue it — changes every conversation you'll ever have about your business.

What the Fellowship Delivers

A three-dimensional transformation —
for your business, your leadership, and your life.

The Destination Fellowship is not a business program with a mindfulness module bolted on. These three dimensions are designed to work as one.

I — Business Clarity

Know exactly where you're going.

You leave with a precise Destination — specific, financial, time-bound — and the Guardrailing decision-making framework that keeps every major business choice aligned with where you're actually going.

  • A written Destination Statement with the financial math
  • Your personalized Good Decision Framework
  • A 24-month Guardrailing business roadmap
  • Capital strategy and investor relationship clarity
II — Leadership Mastery

Navigate every room with confidence.

The relational intelligence and psychological self-awareness to navigate boards, investors, clients, and teams with confidence. The conversations you've been avoiding become your greatest leverage.

  • DiSC workstyle and leadership profile
  • Board and investor communication mastery
  • Hiring, team-building, and culture frameworks
  • Conflict as a leadership tool — not a threat
III — Personal Grounding

Lead at your best without burning out.

The self-knowledge and personal systems to lead at your highest level without burning out. You understand what drains you, what restores you, and how to build both into your life as deliberately as your business.

  • Personal energy audit and development plan
  • Mindfulness and stress management tools
  • The leader's identity beyond the company
  • Non-negotiable personal practices that hold

About Your Facilitator

Michael Bush

"I spent a dozen years building by instinct, intuition, and eventually a framework I didn't have a name for. The Destination Fellowship is that framework — made explicit, transferable, and yours."

Michael Bush spent nearly a dozen years building Ganeden from a startup into a global probiotic ingredient company with over 1,000 SKUs in 65 countries — then sold it for a $150M+ exit to Kerry Group in 2017. What got him there wasn't luck or genius. It was a repeatable decision-making framework built on two questions: Does this move us toward our Destination? And is it Good?

He called it Guardrailing. He wrote the book. And now he's sharing it in the most direct way possible — in a room with 15 of the most ambitious and mission-driven leaders he can find.

Michael is founder of GrowthWays Partners, a certified meditation instructor, and an alumnus of the Modern Elder Academy and the Hoffman Process. He brings the same rigor to the personal dimensions of leadership that he applied to building his business — because he learned, the hard way, that you can't separate the two.

Questions

Everything you need to decide.

The Fellowship is built for mission-driven leaders, CEOs, and senior executives who are actively building a business toward a meaningful exit or growth milestone — and who want more than business strategy. The ideal participant is a growth-mindset, lifelong learner who is ready to engage with the psychological, emotional, and relational dimensions of leadership at the same depth as the commercial ones. If you're looking for a credential or a passive learning experience, this is not the right program.
No. The Guardrailing framework applies to any business being built toward a defined destination. While Michael's deepest expertise is in natural products, consumer goods, and ingredient businesses, the program is designed for leaders across sectors who share the same fundamental challenge: building with clarity, leading with conviction, and arriving exactly where they intend.
Plan for approximately 4–6 hours per month: a 90-minute group session, a 60-minute 1:1 coaching session, a 45–60 minute peer accountability pod meeting, and 1–2 hours of pre-work. Attendance at all three in-person events (October, March, September) is required for all Fellows. The pre-work is designed to be your thinking time, not a homework assignment.
A 30-minute conversation with Michael. There is no pitch and no pressure. Michael will ask about your business, your Destination, and what you're hoping to solve in the next 12 months. You ask whatever you need to ask about the program and whether this is the right year. Both sides make a decision. If there's a fit, you'll receive next steps within a few days.
Participants are selected by application and discovery call. Michael is looking for leaders who are genuinely growth-minded, willing to be honest with themselves and their peers, and at a business stage where the Fellowship's content will have immediate, real-world application. The cohort is curated deliberately — because the quality of the peer group is as important as the curriculum.
Yes — all three in-person events are required commitments for every Fellow. The October kickoff at SupplySide Global, the March mid-year intensive at Expo West, and the September graduation retreat are all non-negotiable components of the program. Please ensure your calendar is clear for all three before applying.
For most participants, yes — the Fellowship is a professional development and business advisory expense. We recommend consulting with your accountant, as treatment varies by business structure and jurisdiction. GrowthWays Partners will provide appropriate documentation for your records.
